Bedford Falls Book Fairs has personnel experienced in writing (and winning!) grants for a number of educational projects. Back to School Events

A Back-to-School Event can provide an opportunity for a district to welcome students and help them prepare for the new school year. Providing a way for students to self-select books can encourage literacy and the home-school partnership.

Does your community have a One Book program? These community events involve many members of the community reading the same book and participating in literacy events focused around the book. What about providing a One Book program for students in your community?

This is one way to bring students together and get them excited about literacy! We can help you provide books for the students to participate in this effort.

Author visits can be a wonderful way to excite students about reading!

When you are bringing an author into your school, the students will of course want to obtain their own copies of the books. And if the author signs the books, even better! Bedford Falls can work with you to obtain discounted copies of the books for your author visit.

Literacy Programs

As your library provides access to and programming for Battle of the Books and the State Awards, look to Bedford Falls for assistance in the acquisition of complete sets of the books. These programs are an avenue to provide increased visibility and access to quality children’s and young adult literature.

Classroom Library Bundles

While the school library is a good resource for students to experience self-selected reading, a classroom library can provide another opportunity for that experience. In collaboration with your school and/or district, Bedford Falls can curate a collection of books from which teachers can choose.

Classroom Book Sets

If your district has a prescribed classroom book list for each grade level, Bedford Falls will work with administrators to provide the necessary books for each classroom. We will send the books to the school, packaged for each classroom.
